Location and Facilities

 

We are located just south of the thriving downtown business district of Durango, CO. Our facilities include a student class/clinic room, a reference library with over 350 titles, administrative office, bookstore, and organic vegetable garden.

The massage therapy and energywork classroom is equipped with anatomy charts, a human skeleton, videos, TV, VCR, DVD player, overhead projector, massage tables and stools, pillows and bolsters, Shiatsu futons, zabutons and zafus, backjacks, tables, chairs, desks, CD player and soothing music.

Durango is a vibrant community in southwest Colorado. It has a vital alternative/holistic health community and plenty of social and recreational activities for students. At 6500' and on the scenic San Juan Skyway, Durango offers a true Rocky Mountain experience. With over 300 days of sunshine per year, there are plenty of opportunities for spectacular hiking, climbing, mountain biking, skiing, rafting and kayaking in our backyard.

We are happy to have Nature's Oasis Natural Foods Market and Fitness Solutions 24/7 as neighbors.  We enjoy having a great gym and healthfood store nearby.

Area attractions include , Durango Mountain Ski Resort, the Animas River, Mesa Verde National Park, Hovenweep National Monument, , McPhee and Navajo Reservoirs, the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, and thousands of acres of public lands--including the San Juan National Forest..
